Why Spitfire?

I am often asked why the company is called Spitfire Control. It is not, as was suggested by Amanda Stanaway of Woods Bagot, because all good project managers spit fire and are controlling (although she does have a point). Spitfires were designed to do one thing very well, and they did better than everyone else; they were years ahead of their time; and only one person can fly a Spitfire!
