Spitfire Control managed the relocation of Diageo to North Sydney back in 2012. When they recommitted to the space in 2019 they also recognised that some parts of the fitout no longer suited their current work practices. Some spaces were redundant, others needed change.
Spitfire Control worked with our client to prepare a strategy that included vacating one area for sublease, and repositioning others to better suit the current workstyles. The capex was cost neutral and allowed Diageo to remain in the space with greater efficiencies.
“This project neatly highlights the value-add we bring to our clients. We created the strategy, worked with our client to get international approvals, and controlled the whole process including creative outcomes and cashflow. We manage the entire project.”
“It was always our intention to ensure that staff felt comfortable, energised and valued; whilst working in a space which allowed them to connect with the latest technology. We can happily say that we have achieved our goal.”
The office where Snowy Hydro were based in Sydney was an iconic location on a wharf in the shadow of the harbour bridge. However, the space was tired and awkward. It was simply not performing as required. Spitfire Control was appointed to change things.

Makinson d’Apice had been in their existing office space for many years and the configuration was starting to impact upon their business. They needed to move to new premises that could allow them to grow, and better more effective, but not at an increase to their bottom line.
