A one of a kind project for us, the scale and complexity of LinkedIn, coupled with the off shore location of the client made this a difficult project to manage. We had 11 reporting lines with responsibilities for different sectors of the project from facilities and branding through to nutrition and wellness of the staff to consider and communicate with.
Once the full complexity of the project became apparent, we workshopped a revised reporting structure to streamline communication through a Working Party of three. Extensive use was made of nascent technologies like Zoom to facilitate video reporting.
