Tourism Australia were looking for new premises that would showcase all that is best in Australia, at the same time as creating a new workplace that could adapt to the changing nature of work. Spitfire Control partnered with Renascent to provide and management and build service. We were involved from the very start with site selection and due diligence, through consultant selection and management. Once the project progressed to construction, we stepped back and Renascent delivered the project for an agreed lump sum.
This unconventional delivery strategy suited the requirements of Tourism Australia, and optimised the inputs of all parties.
The resultant fitout is a striking workplace with nods to many aspects of the Australian culture, flora and fauna. It has point blank views of Sydney harbour and an adaptable working environment.
